      <image:caption>RCYT (Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher) I am a preschool teacher, nanny and kids yoga instructor.  Throughout my time working with children I’ve witnessed how impactful yoga and mindfulness can be for developing minds and now it is my passion to share it with as many kids as possible!  In my free time,  my husband and I enjoy traveling, hiking and being on the lake or just hanging out at home with our cat and two dogs.  I’m so excited to be part of the Green Lotus community! My classes introduce yoga and mindfulness in a playful, engaging way.  Children are encouraged to stretch their bodies, imaginations and understanding of themselves and the world around them!  We explore poses and breathing exercises, build social-emotional skills and have fun with games and activities.  Each class is unique and designed to help kids leave feeling more calm, confident and connected!  I also love bringing kids yoga and mindfulness beyond the studio!  Parents looking for birthday party ideas, scout troop visits or even just a fun activity for a group of friends are encouraged to reach out.  I’m also excited to work with daycare and preschool teachers who are looking to add extra summer enrichment opportunities for their children.</image:caption>

Once I dove into studying the Bible and recognized my faith was deeper than a specific religious practice, I  identified that massive missing puzzle piece. This exploration carried over onto my mat where I had “practiced” yoga for almost 30 years . I am on a continuous journey and want to share my passion through teaching faith-based yoga, bringing scripture and yoga philosophy together in a practice that goes beyond the mat. I am living my best life as a newlywed with a combined family of 7. I and my husband don’t often sit still and we are always planning our next adventure. Hiking, boating, skiing, wine tasting, golf, you name it, we are usually up for trying it (pickle ball anyone?). Faith, family, and friends are the root of my being.
