Basic & Yoga For All

An introductory class for students who are new to yoga or a refresher class for others. We will focus on poses with heavy assists from the instructor. Our intention is to empower you regardless of skill level or body type.

 

Join us for a 60-minute Vinyasa class designed to connect breath with movement and cultivate mindful presence. In this empowering practice, you’ll be guided through a dynamic sequence of asanas that invite you to explore strength, balance and flexibility at your own pace.

Rooted in intention and breath, this class encourages you to expand your practice, tune into your body’s wisdom and carry the sense of mindfulness off your mat and into your day. This class offers a supportive space to grow, flow and reconnect with yourself.

Vinyasa & Empower


This class is designed specifically for early mornings! Begin with warming stretches in preparation for a series of gentle flows and focus on breath. You’ll leave with an open and balanced mind and body! Please call or email to register the night before by 8PM

Rise & Shine Yoga (Gentle Vinyasa)


This type of yoga is a practice of passive healing. By allowing time for longer asanas (postures or poses) using props such as blocks, bolsters, blankets, etc. and deeper breathing, restorative yoga helps elicit the relaxation response . This response can help slow breathing, reduce blood pressure, and produce a feeling of calm and increased well-being. Through the use of props for support, many of the postures are held almost effortlessly. This class is suitable for all levels.

Restorative


Gentle Yoga

This class will incorporate pranayama (breathing), asanas (postures/flow) and relaxing, guided meditations at times. You will explore the variety of poses and gentle flows. There will be a focus on the alignment of the pose and then adapt it to your unique practice. When you are comfortable in a pose it allows you to breathe deep and soften. Only when we are relaxed and breathing in a pose, whether standing or sitting, can energy flow. Once we open up and energy is flowing…then we really feel good and gain awareness of our body and our practice. It will be the breath that will walk us through the practice. As we bring greater awareness to our breath, it helps us to stay in the present and leave the outside world behind. That is the one of many goals of yoga…living in the present moment. This class is available to all levels and all are encouraged to attend!


Deep Stretch Yoga

The class that is the perfect start for beginners as well as a great way to compliment and deepen your practice. Deep stretch yoga involves moving through poses to improve flexibility and release tension. It is a slower paced class where poses are held for longer periods of time to promote opening, lengthening and an opportunity to explore. This class will help you feel lighter and more open and can leave you feeling relaxed and calm.

Gentle Warrior

During this class you will blend the strength of yoga’s warrior poses with the ease of a gentle flow. Designed for all levels, Gentle Warrior moves at a slower pace, allowing you to build stability, improve flexibility, and connect with your breath without strain. With mindful transitions and supportive guidance, you’ll cultivate both inner calm and quiet strength—leaving class feeling grounded, balanced, and refreshed.

 

SOMA Awakening Breath Meditation

SOMA breathwork uses a combination of rhythmic breathing, music, visualization and vocal toning. It’s based on the ancient Indian science of pranayama. Join us for an inspiring hour of movement and breathwork bringing you into heightened states of joy, energy, connection and consciousness. SOMA breathwork can help with stress, anxiety, depression and sleep. It can also improve mood, energy and focus.

Wednesdays 6PM, 10/22, 11/5, 11/19, 12/3, 12/17. Cost is $15.00

 

Join us every Thursday at 6:00 PM for a deeply nourishing practice. We begin with a 30-minute guided meditation to quiet the mind, center the breath, and cultivate inner calm. After meditation, students may choose to quietly leave or remain for a 45-minute restorative yoga practice. Supported by props and held in gentle, restful postures, restorative yoga allows the body to release tension and the nervous system to reset. Come for meditation, restorative yoga, or both—this class is designed to meet you where you are.

Candlelight Yoga

During this class you will let go of the week and focus on the new month ahead. We are so fortunate that we can enjoy all four seasons of the year and each month has its own wonderful qualities. This will be a 75 minute, unhurried calming candlelight class. You are encouraged to enter the dark glowing room and relax on your mat and begin to let go prior to class starting. Anyone wishing to attend the class is welcome, there are no requirements for the class except to cultivate openness and awareness of the mind, body and heart through gentle practice. Classes could be a combination of Gentle flow, Restorative, Mindful breathing and Reflection. Cost is same as a Drop In ($15.00)

10/3, 11/7, 12/5 at 6PM


Immerse yourself in a deeply restorative sound journey designed to bring balance to mind, body and spirit. Surrounded by the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes and other sacred instruments including her voice, you’ll be guided into a meditative state where healing and relaxation naturally unfold. The frequencies help quiet the mind, release energetic blockages and promote a profound sense of peace and clarity.

No movement or yoga experience is needed, simply lie back, breathe and receive the nourishing sounds that restore harmony from within. Cost is $30.00 and is due upon registration, which is required! Email GreenLotusLebanon@gmail.com
